1.I will promise to do my best. My best will vary from day to day. From hour to hour. From minute to minute. I will do the very best that I can

2.Lactic acid is my friend. The wind is my friend. Anything that opposes me, is actually helping me to become stronger. If I had no opposition I would be weak

3.If I can run, I run. If I have to walk, I walk. When I am forced to crawl, I crawl. And then I rest and live to fight another day.

4.I fear no man, but I fear my workout. If I do not fear my workout, it isn’t hard enough.

5.I may puke. I may cry. I will never quit, ever.

6.I will never cheat. There is no honor in cheating. What joy can there be in a victory I did not earn.

7.The workout missed is the opportunity missed. I will not cheat myself of the opportunity to become a better athlete and person.

8.I understand the value of the push-up, the pull up, the sit up, the squat and the dead lift. Just as there are a million ways to make chicken. So too are there a million ways to squat, sit up, pull up, push up and dead lift.

9.I will give everything I have and then I will find more within myself.

10.I don’t complain. Complaining is for crybabies. There are 11,232 babies born in the US born everyday. I will leave the crying to them and will soldier on.

11.I will bite off challenges, spit out the results, and beg for more. What are you going to do?

Drive hard tomorrow OTG!!! Work hard, fight through weaknesses and take strength in accomplishments. So proud of the community that surrounds me and honored to be a part of it. Leave it on the floor kids! See you all tomorrow! Good luck to all competitors especially the OTG fam!

I liked that Crossfit Credo so much, I created a big poster of it, and hung the poster on the wall in each of my boys' bedrooms. We quote / reference it all the time.

Here is the link to the photo: http://lh6.ggpht.com/_Dga4OkvTX6Q/TN16ElZm1nI/AAAAAAAAAfw/ziouCJmjrT8/s800/fit1.JPG

Meighan - There will be no WOD's outside tomorrow....it's all inside our little humble abode...

I can FEEL the energy already!! I love it!! It's going to be a great day of incredible efforts, solid community support and a slew of like-minded people!!

The 'spectator challenge' may or may not have liquor involved...=]

Looks like an after party @ Taylor's after the event...Get some!!

Did a little extra today since there was noone at the 3:30. The first was just a little warmup.

Press 3-3-3-3
135-135-145-150

3 min DUs
170

Then the workout.
Pistols
3-3-3-3 - yes these are a lot easier with a kettle bell for some reason.

WOD
9-12-10-10
Could have gotten one more on the KBs, and 2 more on the Lunges. Keep that in mind for next time.

Note: PBR Pounders = 16oz. cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer.

See ya tomorrow!
Paul

Hold the phone Nick.....if the spectator event involves liquor I'd rather do that. My performance would probably be pretty solid.
