Good luck getting it up Kelleigh! I am usually pretty good at helping people get it up but I won’t be there to help you.
I have a few pointers: Sometimes nerves play a part. I’ve noticed when people get nervous, they have a hard time getting it up and a little extra encouragement is all they need. Also, I think wanting something so bad and the anticipation can be a problem. You have been thinking about this all week, so don’t go limp on us now! Sometimes it’s just best to not think about what is going on at all and then you find yourself at the home stretch with time to kill.

It’s known that guys are just stronger. There are a couple of guys that will be there that I know for sure don’t have a hard time getting it up all by themselves. So use them to your advantage! Ask them what happens when they get nervous and what helps them get it up. Also they might say that they do need help sometimes so pick their brains! How do they perform when they are nervous? Maybe certain motivational sayings help them get through the five minutes. I mean 5 minutes is a long time especially when you know the reward is going to feel so great.

Well alright...

I had a slightly different outlook to this than Leah but hey whatever works...
Yes This Will Be Hard
At CrossFit we train incredibly hard; harder than most thought they were capable of. Everyday our athletes break down barriers and set new standards for themselves. Our training is intense, and it creates a bond among our members that can’t be faked or manufactured. Together we sweat, we bleed, we expose weaknesses and we get stronger…together. The community aspect of CrossFit is our greatest strength. At CrossFit there are no ego’s, no room for bad attitudes. Those type of people just don’t last here. We are supportive, we are competitive, we are strong, we are humble, we are athletes….we are CrossFit.

Kick ass job to everyone who has already tackled this. To everyone going today and tomorrow: battle hard

Phenomenal efforts from everyone!

Thanks for all the positive vibes and inspiration everybody!

Nick, THANK YOU! A new PR on the power clean and still alive on the board!

Bambi and Steve, thank you for sticking around for "take two!"

Take 1: zip.
Take 2: (1) Power clean & front squat. Cleaned it up a few times. Just didn't get under it for the jerk. I'll be working on that!!!

Great coaching/cueing from Nick! After several practice cleans (and a 115lb one thrown in for good measure!), I can now power clean my body weight (110-112).

Crazy $hit! Love it! =)

Congrats to all who've gone and best wishes to all who've yet to go! ATTACK IT!

I made it up on the board today with the third sectional board. I was seriously disappointed on Wednesday, just not getting that clean! Today, I was able to make three full rounds. I'm definitely benefitting from all the passion, drive, determination, and commitment that's flying around the box. Thanks to Shane for encouraging me on Wednesday (not sure I thanked you) and to Nick for helping me see what it is I'm capable of.
