Did the #3 wod this morning. Wow!!! Kicked my butt!! Managed 10 rounds + 1 sq clean. was at 8 rds at half way point, and only was able to get 2 more plus the clean. Strength just fell off the map. I missed on 2 of the cleans by not getting elbows through...weight just went forward and down. Looking back I think the best strategy is to go balls out while you still have strength and hang on as long as you can. Good luck to all. Thanks to the 9:30 EHT crew for the encouragement.

I can't connect my pull ups anymore. Kinda brought me back to my childhood days during ballet practice when I would get my triple pirouette then lose it!

But thanks Nick for the great coaching. You really always help me do so great! Everyone go easy on him today. He's a little testy. I have PMS and since we spend so much time together he's probably on my cycle.

Did my own thing today, worth a mention.

WOD: 150 Burpees for time
Finished 11:54.

Not sure how that time compares with previous attempts, but either way, this workout flat out blows. It does really test your wind, which is why I did it, plus it is pretty easy to do from home (or away from the gym) with little prep time.

On a side note, I have never heard one of you a**holes try this. I know it's stupid, but look at all the other stupid stuff we do, can't use that as an excuse ;)

Well I didn't chicken out! I had no real gauge of what to expect from myself with Game WOD #3... Going in I said I'd be happy with 5 rounds and thrilled with more. Super excited to say I got 9 rounds + 1. (19) My clean form needs much improvement and the lack of shoulder flexibility is obvious with my inability to rest the bar on my front rack during the squat. With that said, I held the damn thing the entire time and I can add my wrists to "things that hurt"!! LOL! But now that its over I feel great. Another thing it is AMAZING how much easier the bar flies up with the split jerk when I GET UNDER THE BAR!! Wow! (thanks Mark)

took one look at that sectional WOD & announced "I'll do ADV" ! but great job to Brian, Brandon, & Dennis, that looked like a beast!
ADV WOD: 6 rounds + 7 pullups, tire flips were a fun $out, did 18/19, lets go get it this week!!

Not really sure what to say...Attempted Games WOD#3 and just couldn't clean 110 lbs. got to 105, which was my previous orm....tried for five minutes (more if you count before the timer started)
Oh well.
Cash out row for cals/abmat sit-ups

impressive job today at w'town, Bill killed it. did the wod coached, no redo's this week, plan on drinking & eating non paleo this friday night! anyway, 21 rnds + 1, just could not straighten my left arm on that last one. Thanks for the push from my fellow crossfitters and Nick.

Well, got four reps on the Games wod. I'm pretty happy considering 165lb is my 1rm clean. If I would get my ass below the bar I could clean alot more. Add it to the list of things to work on. Thanks for all the encouragement at 4:30.

did the games wod today...just wanted to get it done so i could stop thinking about it, which of course hasn't happened because now i wish i could do it again.
did 11 rounds. steve p mentioned the #14 so i was really shooting for that. oh well..one and done!

Did ascending reps on the minute to get a feel for the games wod. I failed to get 5 going into the fifth minute. Hating and liking this wod at the same time. Going to be an experience.

My heart is in it, but my head and body just cannot commit.

Felt the weight out for 10 tonight rx'd. Its going to be doozy...
