First-Congratulations KRISTI!!!!
And Congratulations to everyone who competed yesterday! I don't even know how to explain the feelings of seeing all of you out there giving it all you had and doing such an amazing job! Each of you were inspiring. IT was an amazing experience to be there to witness IT ALL! Where do I even begin.
NICK & MARK: you organized and ran a perfect event! Everything was planned & executed seamlessly. If I were to describe every detail, there wouldn't be enough space, but let' just say each of us knew where we needed to be, what we needed to be doing-nothing was missed by you guys.
STACEY: the food was incredible. I don't know if you should start an event catering business (FOOD that's OTG) or a tv show or both, but how you plan a menu and the perfect amount for that many ppl is beyond & it tastes better than any restaurant!
BRETT: you never left the computer as long as we were there from 7a-6p. It was spreadsheet central corner all day for you.
And for all the rest of the volunteers from W'town and EHT-it was great to see and meet you all! I feel so lucky to have been a part of the day and so proud to be part of the OTG family. When you join OTG, I feel like it's not just about the movements, weights, and competition which was a big part of the day (obviously) but more than that, it was like spending the day with family & it was so much fun!

And Huge Thank You for the OTG Spirit Award...as I sit here and think about it, my eyes are tearing up. That meant so much to me...I have to say, the last WOD was so hard, and I didn't think I was gonna make it....but I did. I couldn't have done it without my coaches by my side and all of you, the OTG Family....I truly feel apart of it:) Thank you again:)

Oh, and one more thing...being in the 7th heat with Sammi, Sonny, and Casey was awesome!! We had our own little OTG thing going on...you girls are the bomb!!!

Thank you Nick, Mark and Stacey for putting on a 1st class event. It couldn't have gone smoother. You guys are awesome! Nick, I think you should replace Dave Castro as the MC in the 2011 Games. That is, if you are not competing!!! I am so glad I joined OTG! Great job judges you were a great support during the WOD's as was the entire OTG family - that was awesome and what it is really all about!

OMG every single muscle in my body hurts. I woke up with a toe cramp last night. Who does that happen to?

What an awesome day. I had so much fun. The competition was insane. I never did 30 burpees that fast before and it still wasn't fast enough. haha. But I would not have been able to do it if the whole gym wasn't screaming don't you stop. But thanks for everyone that cheered.

I had a blast cheering everyone else on, our gym kicked some ass yesterday. Theresa, holy god you are amazing. Michelle way to get a PR after 10 minutes of hell and pushing through to get it done. Maria couldn't have done it without you girly, you rock. Everyone that competed, seriously great job, so proud of everyone.

Wall balls here I come f%$#ers

Theresa, that was an awesome finish! Way to lay it all out there! Congrats!

Thank you to Mark, Nick and Stacey for putting together another awesome event! All your hardwork and dedication is truly appreciated. With all that you had going on, your cheers were heard and your energy felt! You're incredible! I love you guys so much!

Thank you to all the judges, helpers and score-keeper central! You made our day run smooth and helped on so many levels! Get some rest! You deserve it :)

Thank you to my OTG brothers and sisters for giving it your all, showing 'em how it's done and then still giving others your tireless energy by cheering people on.

Bambi and Pon, thank you for all your help. Those WODs were tough and you got me through.

Pon, it was so good to see you. Glad you'll be back in action soon!

Great hanging out with the W'town crew! Have to get up there for a WOD with you guys!

Yesterday has me coming away with trials and triumphs...the box jump freeze...wth? An HSPU and pr on an overhead lift...yay! I'm gonna do that last WOD again...and get to my burpees!

The mind is just as important to work on as the body.

My "work on it" list is ready to go for the week.

Hope everyone is feeling good, resting up and ready for a great week ahead!

See everybody Tuesday! Can't wait!!!

Wow, what a day yesterday was!

Nick, Mark, and Stacey-Congrats on such a successful, amazing day. You guys have built an incredible, supportive, tight knit community and I truly feel privileged to be a part of it. Stacey-the food was amazing! I need that chicken salad recipe in my life!

Kristi-CONGRATS! You are amazing! Theresea-Your performance was incredible.

Thank you everyone for being so supportive. It's hard to even think about giving anything less than 105% when so many people are cheering your name and patting you on the back congratulating you when you finish. Thank you to all of the judges, especially Kevin. Your motivation, encouragement, and strategizing was invaluable and I can't thank you enough. All of the other competitors-watching you was inspiring and humbling. Seeing you guys put it all on the line motivated me to do the same and to want to get better. Congrats to all.

Cannot wait to step it up this week. Feeling so inspired by you all.

and Kelli, THANK YOU! When I was torn about signing up, you made my decision for me and I can't thank you enough.

can't say anymore then what was said, like Tony I've gotten some must needed rest, about 9 hrs..just a side note, was talking to jake (son)& he asked me what place I wanted finish before the fun started. i answered I wanted to walk away knowing I can't do another dead, kb swing, bj, double under or anything else that was thrown at us. Well on the way home i was thinking where i could have done better on the last wod & pretty hard on myself (shocking i know), Jake then stated, "but dad, could you have done more?" I thought, a smile came to me, no I really couldn't have, I did what I could and was proud that my son saw this, yesterday was so much fun, and when I can move again (not any time soon), I know that I'm better because of it.
Judges were great and everyone went above and beyond the comfort zone... can't wait for our next "family" get together :)

If I can show all of you my appreciation by cooking then I will do it all day long because I do appreciate it! Everyone asked if they could help me (it means so much)and yes I may say no but this is my way of showing how much I respect you and a way for me to thank you.(This whole CrossFit endeavor started in my kitchen too)

What a day yesterday. Although, I've had the amazing opportunity to have been with OTG for over 2 years, events like this prove over and over again what Mark, Stacey, and Nick envisioned when they started this adventure. OTG has meant so much to me, that I find it impossible to put it into words.

Not seeing everyone at the box everday is proving to be difficult to get used to, but I hope to be home to see everyone as often as possible.

Mark, Stacey and Nick, you ran an excellent event! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to judge. My throat has been so sore. It's crazy how emotional involved you get with a complete stranger and wanting them to do well!

Congrats to all the competitors!

Miss you guys!!!

For the last 24hrs, not more than a minute has gone by where I haven't thought about yesterday's Challenge. As both a competitor and a witness, I am very proud to have been a part of such an AMAZING competition and display of community. It was such an honor to stand with the other athletes yesterday pushing ourselves beyond what we thought were our limits. I honestly thought I knew what tough... I was mistaken. Yesterday I saw PR's established and broken. I witnessed blood, sweat and tears, and I shed some of each myself. I walked out of OTG yesterday a beaten slab of meat, and woke up this morning a little tender, feeling every bit alive. I cannot wait to go back for more...

Thank you to Nick, Mark & Stacey for building all of this... we appreciate it more than you may ever realize.

See you this week.
