Am I the only one nervous about the Tough Mudder? I asked Nick if he was doing anything to prepare and he told me he just shows up and wins races. Not the training advice I was looking for, but not unexpected from him. Is anyone doing specific things to prepare, or are you just gonna wing it? I thing winging it is more crossfitty, the whole unknown and unknowable thing, but I would hate to do poorly because my calves aren't used to running long distances or some stupid shit like that. Any thoughts?
Sammy, spot on. First time I've ever puked in a workout today, might be attributed to the fact that I didnt eat this morning, but still, I don't know what the f%*$ happened today, I think we should start running more hills...*cough* new wtown *cough*
Donio Park wod goes into my top 10 worst wods ever at cf. Oddly enough I thanked Nick at the end for a good time. Something very strange about that. Had a great day other than the fact that I can barely get up my steps, put make up on and blow drying my hair is out of the question.. Great work Teams!
Atlee, yeah, not gonna lie, I'm a little nervous too. I did a six mile run last week and my legs were hurting. But not as much as today, doing those hills. OMG, my knees are hating me right now. Hope everyone is enjoying the rest of their Sunday and doing a whole bunch of nothing.
