Any recommendations for doing/not doing the WODs with a chest cold? I can't take not working out. It's been 4 days. This sucks!

Snatch Pulls are a new movement and you guys did great...it's going to help your snatch technique big time...awesome work on the BB lunges! (The BB lunge is diabolical!!!)

So today is my official 2nd day at the Paleo Diet. I zoned pretty hard last year from May-Oct and never felt better. The holidays threw me off as they do most people so I decided to try Paleo for a month. If I felt that good on the zone then I will feel great eating Paleo...right? I've ran into a few stumbling blocks...like not drinking coffee and cutting out my protein bar for a snack. But I seem to be handling it well. For all you Paleo people out there here is a link to a good video on eating this way. I'll keep you posted on how it goes:-)

Really interested in picking the brains of those who have tried different diets to see which one would be best suited for me. I'm b/w the Paleo and the zone but don't want to shock my system too hard by going full Paleo. Leanna, I wish that I could have sat in on your explaining it to Jackie yesterday. You know so much!
Anyway-WOD today was good. Liked the lift even though it's a little awkward. 45-65-75-85-(stopped at 85) Lunges were tough. Overall, fun afternoon with great group. You all did really really well!
And thank you Nick and Mark for making such a great effort to change the music up. I think that it's fun to hear what you guys come up with! Keep the
tunes coming-like Sheriff & Ace of Base. Maybe we can get some Expose in the mix-cool! :)

Bambi..I am by far no expert but I think you just need someone to sit down with you and actually write out the meals (this is what I needed when I started the zone). I can certainly do this with you. All I did with Jackie was, had her tell me what she likes for each meal and snacks and I wrote down what she should each at each meal/snack that were broken down into the appropriate blocks for her. Get your blocks figured out and I can do this for you next time we are at OTG. Once that is done you can play with it from there and it's much easier to understand.

Bambi - I gotta say, Leanna was a great help for getting me started on thinking about how to manage this whole zone thing...when i talked to my mom about it, she says she wants to try it, so her and i are gonna work on that together! :)

Today was a good WOD.
lift - 35/45/55/65/75/95
WOD - 6:43 w/ 55lbs....those lunges got me...didn't realize how the T2B and burpees would wreck my legs!

I went for K2E but I guess that wasn't the reality as when I checked my time after the WOD I noticed "Nazi Nick" crossed out my "E" and made it a "C"

I started the Primal Blueprint last week. A little easier than Paleo, but still no sugar, grains, or crap. Feel pretty good so far.

Awesome! kevin. "primal" is essentially paleo + milk. So if your body is ok with milk, cool.
