If your up for the mud run make sure you have everything in by Sept 11th. Hope you can put a team in, I'd be there if I already wasn't doing it with the boys at work. Check out the website www.mcguiremudrun.org. Should be a blast.

Used blue band for pull ups. Thinking about ditching band & trying to kip. Can't kip and use band. Leanna & Mike, thanks for your help/suggestions!

Slacking today on Helen. I finished with 15:27. I was dragging ass on the pull ups. Just didn't have it today. But I did PR'd it and I completed all the KB swings unbroken, so there is the positive. I gotta work my runs, I was pretty slow on that today. As always I'm a work n progress.

Side note my oldest son, Michael (4yrs old) asked me to show him how to do a burpee, so I told him to talk to Paul, the burpee king.

No I showed him and he banged out 5 pretty good ones for a little guy. Then my 2 yrs old tried one and got the jump part down pretty well. Future Crossfitters, you gotta love that.

Too much Jim, the LAST thing I want to be known as is the "burpee king".

Way to work with the kids. I am trying to work with my boys (7 and 9) a little. I worked with them on squats last week. Now that school is here, and they aren't playing outside until 9, I hope I can work with them a little more.
