Warm up with 5-5-3-3 until you get to a working set of 3.
Increase weights until form is vomit worthy(or failure - should be 4th/5th set), and then pare it back and finish the rest.

This may seem like a sutpid question, but can someone explain to me what a "metcon" workout is?

metabolic conditioning

a metcon is your crossfit WOD...

unless its a lifting WOD, then its not a metcon

When you want to or do puke after a workout, its cause you were doing metabolic conditioning. See, you've hated it before you even knew what it was!

This was tough, 4th set was 180 for 3 but then the last made it onl to one,(190), lack of hip speed! Next time will be better. It was good to have Wayne there, pushing me as he usually does, thanks
