Alright so today was my first class (and therefor first time posting so forgive me if my lingo is wrong).

ADV - I did 4 box jumps instead of 6 each round. 20lb KB

12Rds + 4 Burpees

It was great meeting everyone at the 6:30am class!

Fb: 1.5pood kb, 16 rounds.

This was my very first time swinging a 1.5. It was a little scary but got the hang of it. Thanks for the pointers Justin!

Welcome Jen!

Sheri.

Welcome Jen!

Well, it is with great sadness that on Day 72 of the burpee challenge I must drop out. :( Over the past week my elbow has gotten obviously worse so I am going to do the "smart" thing and lay off of it for a bit.

For me the challenge has been awesome. Its been so nice doing burpees at home with Justin and the kids! I definitely have improved and have extended my unbroken string. Marley (4) loves doing them and its even helped her learn to count higher! As for Luke (2½), we've learned he doesn't like burpees! LOL!

I will revisit the 100 days again. For now, trying to get the elbow good so I can participate in the OTG Challenge on 11/5!

Welcome aboard Jenn!

Leanna, you look fabulous! So great to see you and Mike!

The 24" box and I are friends again! So freakin' happy! No mis-hits or stutter steps! Just down and up!!! Thanks, Mike, Nick & Bob for getting me to herd that goat!

FB: 22 rds, 1.5 pood

As Coach B would say, "it's a 'Yahoo!' kind of day!"

Nikki, you're such a trooper! I'm glad you're resting the elbow. I know you'll be tackling those burpees again after some rest!

Have a great weekend everybody! :)

Great to see some of the "old heads" this morning in W'town.

Was anyone else even slightly "disturbed" by what Justin and Brandon were doing on the mat at the end?

Great class 5:30 w'town. Fighting over boxes. 17 rounds, good wod. Two would have been easy, four would have been death.

26 rounds plus 2 with 2 pooder

Great job this morning Breeze, Kev, and J!

Did this one next to J...INSANE!! He got faster as the wod progressed. Awesome, awesome stuff.

Kev thanks for the socks...so pumped!!

Nikki, sorry about the elbow. We all know you would have crushed the burpee challenge. Definately a smart move giving yourself some time to heal.

Also, here's what other people are saying about OTG!! I copy and pasted it from todays comments as crossfitredshed.com

Yo Yo Yo Shedheads!!
CrossFit OTG Fitness Challenge II is going to be November 5th in Williamstown. Hope to see you guys and gals there!!

Thanks for the reminder, Doug!

Here is my take on The OTG Open...
https://crossfit-off-the-grid.zenplanner.com/zenplanner/portal/event.cfm?eventId=D87988DB-13C3-4D58-AB19-E4F16D086907
->it is legit!
->it is run extremely well!
->the WODs will be true to CrossFit and very similar to the WODs we do in the shed!
->high level of competition (our best will might make top 5 or 10)!
->it was a lot of fun last year!

Coach is right. OTG is an awesome event that's run very well by great people. We will definitely be there and I think Janice may even register. If you're even thinking of participating in a competition, this is the one. Don't miss it. Its far away but its worth it.

fun wod today, i did fb with 2pood ended up getting through 21 rounds+3+3+3, that 2pood got heavy real quick.

Great push 6:30 am. Thanks Nick, you always gets us stretched out & ready to go!

FB Wod: 31rds +3 with 2pd.

Doug thanks for sharing the post from redshed. I know they have some amazing athletes. Some where there last year and a few made it to regionals so look out!

Bummed that Nikki is unable to continue the burpee challenge. I know how difficult it was for her to stop, especially this late in the game. She was enjoying it and really looking forward to measuring her progress at the end. I couldn't be more proud of her commitment during the past 71 days, I know without a doubt that she would have completed it if not for her injury!
