Butterfly? Please explain.
Steve Kyle and I will be in at 1030 to do the challenge! I've been off since Friday sick and nursing my shoulders feeling much better and ready to go!
Steph, Steve and Kyle... have fun and crush it!
For Butterfly Ring P/U, is it feet in the loops, hands pop up/behind like pulling through water?
Lift: 155 lbs, lil' less than 75%, but didn't wanna push my luck...
WOD: FB; a bit modified on the rings, pushed them out in front some, Time: 6:40
great job 9:30, see yas Saturday!!
Heat times available yet ???
Chris the cf kids heat goes off at noon
Steve, Steph, & Kyle..how do you feel?! Heard through the grapevine that you all crushed it! Tremendous job-you have all worked hard and have made such amazing progress & you look great too!
Congratulations you guys! Awesome job!
WOD FB: 3:22
Think i did moth fly ring push ups!
First time for back squats...wrenched my back on my 6th set of Box jumps. If I can walk tomorrow then it was a great workout. If I can't - you do the math!
Lift: went lighter than 75% @ 95lbs
WOD: (Adv) 4:56
See everyone Saturday!
Great job this morning Kyle Steph and Steve P on your PR challenge performance.
You guys crushed it!
Did the PR Challenge today and had my measurements done for the Paleo Challenge. Overall I am very happy with my progress in the past 2 months.
In January I used a red band for pull ups and did 250 singles instead of the double unders.. Since that time I am able to double unders and can do a single band and even a few pull ups unassisted. Today I thought it would be best to do the challenge the same way I did it in January... The red band held me up today.. not sure what was going but it was pulling over to the side and I just wanted to kip and it kept drifting over.. I feel like I have more kipping ability on a single band and with no band altogether. Toes to bar were slow as well... but Im glad Im getting my toes up there finally!!!
January - 20:05
Today- 16.39
A big thank you to Nick for allowing us to come early and cheering us on (and calling me on a thruster!)
Also to our cheerleader Paul.. I appreciate the water break, cheering, and rep reminders!
Also Tony- thanks for answering some ?s prewod I was feeling a little rusty and needed some reminders.
I could write a book about the paleo challenge but I will sum it up by saying it is something that Steve and I will continue to implement into our lives!
Overall I lost some pounds, inches, and and overall 30% body fat decrease. More work ahead of me but happy so far! Thanks to everyone for the constant support and especially Bambi for bouncing recipes back and forth the past 2 months! SORRY SO LONG!
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ON SATURDAY! STEVE & I ARE SAD WE WILL MISS IT! DO GREAT ; )
Well since steph just wrote a novel i will say that i will def continue to follow the paleo lifestyle. I just makes sense to me. and i did lose 8 lbs
as far as the WOD i was happy with my improvement.
I went from 17:30 to 14:00 today.
Wish we could be there on Saturday to root you all on.
I am sure you will all Kill It
Great job Steph & Steve all on aspects! Great job.
Wod- Rx'd 3:35. Did some handstand work instead of the back squat. Legs were SORE from the OHS.
Great meeting you Dan and Scott!
Looking forward to Saturday!
ASwesome stuff Steph!
Steph & Steve: Awesome job on the pr workout and paleo. you guys set the bar high for us on saturday! have a great trip!
lift: 145 first 3 sets were good, only got 5 on the 4th set, and 3 on the last set. the good news is that i was able to properly dump the weight today which is an improvement from the last time we did back squats :)
wod: firebreather...6:32. modified the ring push ups. those box jumps were...different. they made me nervous!
feel better doug!
Lift: 145
WOD: Advanced 5:45
First, thanks Nick for making box jumps even more nerve wracking for me than they already are, second really didn't want to push it too hard before Saturday.
Congratulations Steph and Steve! Amazing work!
Can't wait to see everyone on Saturday!
Stuck to the Advanced WOD tonight and played it light overall in order to save myself a bit for Saturday. I really want to bust out something sick... so hopefully a little active rest today and a full rest tomorrow will do me well.
Lift - 185 rx'd
(ADV) WOD Rx'd - 3:59
Thanks again Nick for letting us do te PR challenge today. Can't say enough about the diet and the last 60 days. Lost 20lbs of fat and went from 21:43 to 15:29 in the challenge. Sticking with the diet for awhile not really missing much of what I used to eat. Going to try this workout again in a couple months when I figure out how to do double unders!
Great Pr's guys.
