Doug - Try cleaning and jerking the computer, then overhead squatting it. See if that works.

Nick/Mark/Anyone - hoping to come back from the thoracic strain today after a two week layoff. Think FRSQs will be too straining on the upper back? Scaled, obviously.

Steve C - I'll take real good care of ya...
Great work today 6:30!! That was a terrific class!

Just curious about Paleo. I have been pretty strict paleo since Monday (no grains, breads, rice, beans, dairy, cheese), and I can't friggin sleep! I wake up at 5AM, do my normal routine, workout at 4:30, running with the kids until 9. Typically I would be exhausted, but not anymore.

I haven't been able to get any good sleep at all this week. Awake past midnight every night, bad bad sleep, out of bed at 5 AM.

It's kinda strange that I am not dragging during the day, I actually feel fine, not sluggish at all.

Anyone else have the same issue? I am hoping this will soon pass. Sleep is one of my very favorite things to do.

Maybe some herbal tea to chill you out at night?? I've been downing peppermint tea lately and it seems to be pretty calming.

Thanks Doug, that seems something worth trying.

WOD (75) 5+15+2

Steph! You are making such progress w/ your pull ups-you got a few using a single this morning! it will be no time until you are able to do them unassisted. Your form is looking great! You're almost there-proud of you!

Steve: Not sure what to say about "16". Impressive! You sure you need to do the challenge?

and Shane, Tony, Marianne: great job! I felt like I needed to keep up w/ you all today-thanks for the push!

I'm excited to start the challenge and get everyone's tips, feedback, and recipe suggestions. Maybe we could all come up w/ a meal idea for the day & post it on the blog? Not sure how that would work out but we could try!

Hey Paul, "Celestial" brand tea has a "sleepytime" green tea with lemon herbs and other natural calming herbs. I drink it and it works for me. Another tea is Chamomille tea which naturally calms too. I know another natural herb but you have to smoke it and it's not good for us crossfitters.....LOL!! Anyway, hope that helps.

WOD: Rx'd 5 rounds +5+15+5+10. My goal was to complete 6 full rounds and I was short by 5 reps. Oh well, next time!!
Great coaching Stacey!!!

Embarrassed to post my WOD stats today ... just one of those days when I COULD NOT string together DU's.

Anyway ... 5 rounds + 5 + 8 (Rx'd)

Great coaching Mama Bear !!!

Really? No, really chris? Nice job.. DU are tough.. Did good tho, better than my 4 rounds even. Not rx'd. Thats pitiful.. Lol. But there is room for improvement.

Great work 9:30 class.. Bambi "I can't" crushed it. Nice work.

Se you all sat morning.

I think our "last supper" last night did us in today.. I was dragging really bad and Steve just stopped for the first time ever.. Ready for this challenge! I know it's going to be a lifestyle change for us.

Did 85 lbs and completed 5 rounds +5+25 singles

Glad that Bambi pushed me to try a single band today for pull ups. I have been relying on the blue band forever and tried a red the other day and did great on it. I was able to do a few on the single band today so Im proud of that accomplishment.

Great job 9:30!

Thanks Theresa, think I'll pick me up some of that.

Doug, seriously Avocado Mayo making me hungry, have you tried it yet?

Just a reminder...Taylor's tomorrow night in Williamstown 730p til whenever. Hope the weather holds up, looking forward to seeing everyone:)

Actually made it in for the WOD today, even though FRSQ are not a strength.

Finished 7 rounds on the button, pretty happy with that number.

I think I could have gotten more, but I was concentrating on getting through all the FRSQ unbroken, which I did. But I slowed everything else down in the process.

rx'd 4+5+6 sit ups, presumably the easiest part of the workout, were what killed me. after that performance nick, i deserve to have dodge balls thrown at me mid front squat. jp and paul awesome job on the pull ups!

on the plus side, i rx'd 3 out of my 5 workouts this week. it's the little things...

see you guys tomorrow at the seminar!

Rx'd 5 rounds + 5 + 15. Did every round of squats unbroken and all but 1 round of double unders unbroken. Great coaching Joey O and great work Paul. And it should be known that I did a workout without being in my "corner" haha : )

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night no matter the weather Theresa!!

Squats were good, DU's still doing singles between...

Great job 4:30, totally badass everyone.

Just bought some kinesio tape online for the tendonitis that seems to be creeping into my left elbow. Anyone have any experience with it??

See everyone tomorrow at the seminar!
