Work on 2 of your weaknesses
Off The Grid and OTG Group Sessions for Thursday 2/11/10
Williamstown - 4 and 6pm
EHT - 4:30 and 5:30pm
Off The Grid and OTG Affiliate Cup Teams
5/22/10 - 5/23/10
After considerable deliberation, we have decided that over the next 2 weeks we will be using the daily Skill/Lift/WOD's as a gauge for selecting the participants for each team. This method of choosing our teams may change in the future, but we feel a cumulative effort over the span of 2 weeks will provide us with a wealth of knowledge to represent both gyms equally. For everyone who demonstrated interest in competing(see below), we will analyze and review your skills, strengths, weaknesses, etc throughout these upcoming two weeks to make a decision. This should be a fun process!! We hope all the athletes who make it are proud of being selected and all those that don't make it, you support your fellow OTG'rs in their efforts in representing YOUR Community! The teams will consist of either a 4 man/2 woman team or a 3 man/3 woman team.
If anyone is missing or added on accident, please post your intentions:

Did we get a name for the Mudder Race? I am signing up tomorrow. If not, is everyone in agreement with "Off The Grid" as the team name. It's going to be insane!!
I think K-Pop put us in as OTG....have to ask her..Off The Grid sounds great to me!!
ATTENTION EHT - My initially scheduled visit for Friday morning has more than likely been pushed back. Now shooting for either 12 or 4:30 ... looking forward to a FREAKY FRIDAY !!!
Coaches,
I have a grown-up question.
Do you have more info on travel/hotel accomodations for the aff cup in Albany and then for Aromas?
grown up question from wayne? cabin fever must be setting in...
who said Wayne can talk to the grown ups, get back to the kid table with Joe O
Chris try for 430 that's When Mark really gets Freaky!
Mud Runners
I probably won't sign up till next week, but Matt if you are signing up tomorrow - cool beans. Just pick a team name, we used CrossFit OTG last time. Just make sure you select the team for 11 or more runners. I believe many have expressed interest and are going to do it and I have a couple people from work that want to do it and it's cheaper the more people we have.
Also, I don't believe this is like last time - it's not a start together finish together. I think it's just a hope to god you finish. Although, if you feel the need to do some burpees during the race while others catch up, that is fine too (Mark, John and Justin):) I did email them and am waiting for a response to make sure. Can't wait:)
I can't compete in the affiliate cup, but I would love to help get the team ready. I have been known to motivate from time to time.
First thing we need to do, is to get Brett to stop worrying about how his calves look!!!!!
K-Pop, I'm in for the mudder. YIKES! I know...knock it off ;)
As for the trials, I like to say, "I am among giants and am humbled and proud." We have incredibly strong, talented athletes. Thanks for including me.
TOUGH MUDDERS: There's an option to reduce your reg fee & help the Wounded Warrior Project at the same time. Commit to raising $150 for WWP & pay less to register.
...Really E?
sorry you can go back to sleding now
That I will, enjoy the comfy confines of your desk old man
The mudder sounds like a lot more fun than running Broad Street (again). I am seriously considering doing the mudder instead. But if we have to finish as a team, I wouldn't want to hold everyone back. K-Pop...please let me know when you hear back on that.
105lb squat clean thrusters???
Every round of this wod, I'll be thinking: YAY BURPEES!
Over the past 24 hrs, I have given some thought to the tough mudder...however, I am still on the fence. Will decide soon, though!
I'm with Sammy...But, I know she can do it! It's 5lbs off my bw. Guess I should I eat spinach and raw meat for lunch! Grr!!! lol
Jax, do it! It's about finishing and having fun; not time (even says so on their site despite the "bad-ass" talk).
will there be a 630 am tomorrow?
Yeah Steph! I'll be there...hope you guys will too!
quick question...i'm not around for performance evaluations currently and how do i fall under both boxes?
UPDATE UPDATE ... looks like 9:30 am in EHT is back in play !!! Family and I heading down to Ocean City this evening. Already excited for Freaky Friday !!!
Jenn,
Record yourself doing 100 burpees for time. Do it 5 times so there can be an accurate score.
Then do Angie rest 15 minutes and then do it again. Your goal is to be within 5 minutes of your first Angie time.
Then write an essay "what does crossfit mean to you"
Off The Grid has been created for the toughmudder!
Team Name is Off The Grid!
105 was heavy! But Lindz n I did it! We got 5 rounds in.
This workout was really good. Brings back great memories from last year's NEQ.
9 Rounds + 2 Squat clean Thrusters
Then worked DU, 5 rounds max unbroken, resting as needed between:
46, 67, 24, 51, 57
Then just some DL form practice for Nick.
Looking forward to tomorrows WOD...
Adam Steel
