Welcome back Joe O! Three months off, swine flu, and down 15 pounds and this little shit still beats me by 2 minutes. Next time I sweep the knee sensei. Great first day back dude.
let me tell you the secret w/Joe O, you have to walk by him and then give a shoulder bump as you go by, it totally takes him out of the game (you can get this off on the young ones) Only kidding "son" it was great to see you back the other night, see you tonight!
haha the blog gangster strikes again. E, these days a shoulder bump from you might put both us down with that bum shoulder and until I get back into things I'm like a piece of hay in the wind! haha see you tonight pops, I might not make it out alive with this one, 84 c2b?!
I'm down to a single band now, yahoo. Hopefully will be off the bands all together pretty soon. Although the forearms and shoulders are cursing me:) Thanks for the push Nick and Bambi.
Good job Kristi!! Thank you to Jackie, Jen and Nick yesterday for your support! Good job Jackie on your negatives and inversions :-)) I truly appreciate the encouragement mentally and physically from Crossfit OTG.
this one was brutal, my arms locked up afterwords from the elbows up. None the less, great to be back! It was PACKED tonight and everything still ran smoothly as swiney watched over us from a distance ;) haha finished with 9:30 but had to use a band on the ring dips, no chest lets work on that ha
Ok so this one was rough. I elected to use no band on the dips and this was a mistake because I was wrecked after about 3 rounds. So needless to say I finished with with 26 something. We'll chalk that up as lesson learned.
On the flip side right before the WOD I attempted the muscle up again. But this time I had Mr. Nick looking on and the first try no good.
BUT THE SECOND TRY BAM!!! THERE IT WAS!. So I did another one and Nick took a picture of it so I hope he throws that up there on the blog. That was 6 months in the working.
Mark next time I see you I'll bang one out for ya. Cause you spent so much time working with me on it. Thanks your the man.
This was rough, not so much on the wind but on muscle fatigue...arms, not, working. Oh and I opened up in 4 spots, kinda like me first day. Did chest to bar for first round then chin over bar for the rest, and used a single band on dips, finished with a lousy 23 somethin. Still though, feels great to be back.
Congrats Jim!! Knew you could do it just by watching ur 1st attmempt.. Well done to the EHT crew today!! I warned u Dom about the hand maintenance this week!! Glad to see Joey O back in the game - niice work today for being out more than 2 mos! Hope Michelle is enjoying the sun n fun in florida - soak up every ounce of info at the cert! All my best to Bambi and her husband!
That was one tough workout. Finished with 19 and change, can't remember exactly the time, with a red band on the pullup. Did the first 3 rounds of ring dips with a single but had to finish with a red. Oh well, getting there.
Congrats to Jim on your MU, you made it look so easy

As Dom says NG... no good
Hot & sticky in Florida! Ran & practiced pull ups. Note: I miss my band & don't try to kip on things that aren't anchored. Makes a hell of a racket!
My legs are toast from last night. I finished off with the snatch k2e squats wod. ...now I remember why I stopped doing furious sets of air squats!
By the way I won't be at OTG tonight. Good luck 6:00!
