What a difference a year makes. I'm looking at pictures of workouts from last December and there's two of me and Paul in agony doing front squats.....with a 45lb bar! We still get the agonized look, just with lots more weight.

This wasn't too bad at all.

3:20'd the Row, which was my target. Thrusters were slower than I expected, but I moved through them 30-10-10.

Then I hit the pullups, which always kill me. Started with 8 and then it went downhill.

Finished 8:43, I have to get that under 8. I won't be in the finals, but maybe I can pop in before I head to Disney and do a Jackie and see what happens.

Thanks Nick for pushing me, I need more yelling.

Congrats to everyone at 6! That was fun.

CONGRATS TO ALL WHO HIT THE PRELIMS! THE 6 O'CLOCK CREW IN WILLIAMSTOWN REALLY KILLED IT! POSTED MY FIRST RX'D WORKOUT AND GOT A TIME OF 13:04. LOOKING TO GET IN THE 11 MINUTE RANGE ON THE RETEST.

P.S. THE THURSDAY EHT CREW KICKS ASS. THANKS MARK FOR GETTING US THROUGH!!!

Jackie killed me today! I got a 12:18 for the intermediate level and hope to at least get under 12 minutes next time. I need to work on speed of my thrusters.

Worked Jackie today as did everyone else. Steve and I hit the 5:30 class in EHT and I think we both left plenty of room for improvement.

I finished with 12:50. I left a little on the rower, I completed that with 3:58. I definitely can do better then that for the retest.

The thrusters definitely slowed me down way more then I thought or had planned. I crapped out after the first 15. Pull ups I did pretty good. I did 6 sets of 5. I knew if I tried to bang out a whole bunch at first I would be wasted. This worked pretty well for me.

Next time around I plan on doing much better. I'm going to shot for 10ish. In 8 weeks we'll see what happens.

Fantastic work to everyone who participated!! Your results in the Finals will be a direct correlation to how hard you push yourself in the 8 weeks of forthcoming WOD's..

Congrats Jeff on the 'as Rx'd' WOD!!

Paul - those were some serious #'s....square up those pull ups and you'll be a shoe in for a gym record!!

Sam - you better be shooting for a better time than that!!!..lol

RX'd at 12:19. I am on a mission for most improved at the finals. Tom and I were in a battle and he got me at the end after I jumped to a small lead through the thrusters. His pull ups are strong and he just busted them out pretty quickly. It probably the funnest WOD ever just having someone as an opponent that your going against. I'll see you in the finals buddy.
