So mad I won't be there today to do this wod...I'd like to see how many I can do after being off for 6 weeks! Getting a shot in my wrist has done wonders for my crossfit workouts!
Much cooler today! The video recording of my deadlifts really helped to figure out why my back hurts so bad when I deadlift!! I'm twisting to overcompensate for my slipped discs!! Did a lil light today to get better form. Also didn't have it in me today to beat my 20 pull ups..did 17 then lost my grip...I'll try again soon!!
Ya Paul, I've been trying to catch you since April. It looks like your lead is ever increasing. Guess I'll have to step up my game a bit more.
So I finally got to workout tonight at like 11pm, whacked I know. Anyway I finished up with he following.
Deadlifts - 185, 205, 225, 255, 275 Max Pull ups - 16 (this is 2 better then last time I tried it)
My goal is 25 by the end of the year. I think it would be easier to get if I could get the diet straight and stop eating like crapola, that's a technical term.
Hey guys, in Crossfit you are only competing against yourself. Your numbers are awesome. I still remember when I struggled with 225 on the deads, and could only get 7 pullups, on a band!
I'm with you Jim, I love beer, no two ways about it. It's tough to trim the waist when you drink beer. That's typical for me in the summer though, I'll scale back soon enough.
New goal is to be a 32 inch waist by next May. Seemingly when you get down to where I'm at body fat wise, it takes more tinkering to get it right. Cutting out the beer would be a nice first step, and that ain't starting anytime soon (too many summer BBQs, Irish weekend will be the cut off date)
I hear that big man. But I'm still using you as my bench mark. Why you ask, because there are to many similarities. Plus every thing your doing I feel like when I get straight I'll be where your at.
I'm kind of a backward guy though I tend to do my best training in the winter months. I don't function well in the summer. Especially the Jersey summer, I hate the humidity. So winter time watch out.

Also...great job to Liz for getting the kip!! Your pull up is right around the corner!
THanks for letting me sneak in tonight. Set a nice PR. My last 1 rep max deadlift was 255, tonight I ended with 3 reps of 260.
My previous 1 rep deadlift was 300, did 3 at 315 (nice).
Ripped out 26 pullups. A little disappointed with that number. If I can continue to work on my kip, I can get to the 30s easy.
Hey Paul, slow down, let me catch up to you!
