We would like you to experience what it's like to be a part of a cert/seminar. It's invigorating, informative, and fun! The Community aspect at these certs/seminars is unparalleled. What type of certification/seminar would you like to see at one of our gyms? All cert's (excluding the level 1 and 2 both $1,000) are $595. All seminars are roughly $400. You have your choice of Gymnastics, Basic Barbell, Kettlebell, Olympic Lifting, CrossFit Football, Rob Wolfe's Nutrition, Rowing and Running/Endurance. The difference between a Cert and a Seminar?
A Certification gives you the information necessary to coach people through movements and their progressions with proper technique while keeping them safe. You also earn a certificate showing your proficiency. They can range from 25-75 people.
The Seminar is identical to the Cert except, there is no certificate and the class size is usually smaller (15-20). Post your thoughts to comments.

1) I think it would be cool to see CrossFit Football and / or the Rob Wolfe Nutrition sems.
2) I'm a little confused on where we're workin' out today. I would definately like to hit EHT but not sure what times you guys are having sessions there. If anyone has a chance to fill me in I'd appreciate it.
We are having one session open to our W'town students tonight in EHT. That's at 6:30 pm.
We will be holding a big get-together VERY SOON at EHT for all of our W'town students, hopefully everyone can make it! We'll keep you posted.
Be sure to stop down this Friday Aug. 7th 4-8pm to help support 'Alex's Lemonade' and CrossFit OTG (For a WOD and fundraiser). We will be having a one month giveaway! (Rain date is Sat Aug 8th)
Nutrition would be great. Olympic lifts would probably help all of us alot.
Thank You Master
Master...lol
FYI Nutrition Cert is $195. Its one day long.
Really Nick, being called master is very unZenlike. Dissapointed in your lack of humility.
HA! that's totally what I was going for, F'N Nice!
Webster's definition #2 - A skilled practitioner of a particular art or activity.
Need I say more...lol
So first time with back squats ... started at 185, then 205, then 215 but could've done 225 on the last round.
WOD time today was 9:31 (i think) RX'd ...
There you go with that humility.
I would love to do the Cert 1 at our gym. Mainly because I keep missing the others because they sell out so fast. As far as seminars go, I would love a running, rowing, and nutrition seminars!
I'd like to see the nutrition seminar mostly. I think that if the key to everything. But I'm flexible, I'll take whatever you guys have there.
Did the WOD today. I felt like running the stairs today so I substitued that for the running. I did 8 times up and down a flight of 13 steps. I finished with 14 even. I didn';t get the back squats in. Slacker. I was running out of time before work.
Jim
Hey what kinds of class times for EHT on Wednesday? I'm looking at going then.
First time with the back squat as well today. 185 195 and 195 again really working on that form. As for the WOD 7:19 RX'd. As for a cert or a seminar i would have to say that I am too broke for any of them so it doesn't matter. If I did have enough money I would say Olympic Lifting or CrossFit Football.
Its was fun being back.
I would like an Olympic lifting seminar.
I did 205lb today for my max, and that definitely pushed me. Its been a while since I did heavy squats.
Did the WOD at 5:58, RX'd, moved pretty good. Felt pretty good.
See y'all Friday at EHT.
