Mark and I did some clean & jerk last night (nailed 245. felt solid), then mini cindy w/ a twist.

Nice f'n workout. I may try this down the shore, subbing tuck jumps for the box jumps (not a lot of globo gyms have stuff to jump on).

I'm off to the shore after work for a week. See you all the following week, probably a few pounds heavier.

So here's an insulin question. Since reducing and eliminating caffeine, I've been feeling tired without a lot of energy. I know that caffeine makes you insulin resistant, and I'm not 100% sure what that means, but I guess it keeps the insulin from cleaning up your blood sugar.

Since I am not getting the caffeine any more, what's going on? Is it possible that my insulin is super sensitive now and drives my blood sugar to lower levels than before? Is it possible that I actually need more carbs in my diet than before?

I know you guys know more about this than I do, I was just curious what you thought was happening.

Well I suck at front squats and power cleans so this WOD is going to be a bitch. And to make it more fun I will be completing the WOD after 4 hours of being at the range tonight up at the FAA bade in EHT. Yaaa! I should be thoroughly wasted tonight.

Embrace the suck. These would be one of those days I wish I was down there at OTG so I could get the instruction. It's kind of tough figuring out how to do this stuff on my own sometimes.

opted for a 3x1 set of front squats, came to a max of 235, then did the 2nd wod, 2:17. Really liked the second one, a weakness(heavy PC, anythign heavy really) combined with a strongpoint, good one got the blood flowing
