Post time to comments.
In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.
This workout was one of Mike's favorites and he'd named it 'Body Armor.' From here on it will be referred to as 'Murph' in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is. Ok so clearly I missed the workout today. I was hoping to get down there today. I got stuff last night right at the end of my shift with DUI. So needless to say I got home late. SO my plan is to spank out Murph on Sunday.
I really curious to know the times of everyone today. You know so I have a base line for it.
Peace out,
Jim
1:04,13sec. That was a kick in the nuts! Going in to this I thought I would get 1/2 way through and drop. Good stuff. See everyone tonight.
Mark, I forgot those business cards, if you read this, can you bring a couple tonite? Sorry, I saw the time and had to run to my son's baseball game.
Jim,
I got 37min, I rowed however, and baby'd the squats a bunch not going all the way down, taking it easy on the knee.
I think I could have pushed through a little harder on the Cindy, and finished stronger on the row. Pullups were all unbroken, my pushups suffered in part due to the row, and like I said, easy easy on the squats.
Next time I do a Murph row, I should be under 35. If I do an Rx Murph, it could be a few minutes higher cause I stink at running.
It was a good time today with everyone there, congrats to all who finished this workout.

See ya tonite.
46:41 rx'd with a 20lb vest on. If this workout wasn't for a good reason, I never would have finished. It was awesome working out with everyone there though. See ya tonight.
My time for today was Forever Minutes and Endless seconds...err, I mean 1:08:35...guess not really one I should be posting on the blog but whatev. Also did the WOD in Boots and Utts.
When asked why we wore those pants and boots today, Eric said Lt. Murphy died so that we could be uncomfortable. I'd like to rephrase that and say that he gave his life so that we have the right to always BE Comfortable, and the least we can do is make ourselves UNcomfortable for a period of time in his honor.
I absolutely gave it everything I had today for Mike "Yankee Boy" Murphy, and thanx again to the Saturday crew for finishing up with me today, obviously I still have a lot of work to do ;-) Be Careful tonight ya'll!
