What's up all! Well today, meaning Friday night, I did the Filthy Fifty. I knew it would be tough. Actually when I first saw this one I was like holy shit that's going to kill me. Well I finished it and for the first time I think I did pretty good. I finished in 50:31.
I had to make some modifications to it. Like the box jumps I did on the basement steps. I jumped up to the 3rd step. I measured it out, it came out to 24 in. The wall ball I slacked on, I only have a 15 lbs medicine ball and by the time I got to them squatting all the way down was working to well. The lunges killed my ass. So I did 75 wall balls, oh and my ceiling is only 9 ft. So I think I made up for that. The burpees were death. I used to like doing them, enough said on those. Other then that I think I did pretty well. Of course I have nothing to compare it to.
One thing for sure I'm glad I did this one on my day off. I can just see myself trying to go to work after that workout. My Sgt. would be like Longo why are you walking like you have something in your ass. I could hear the comments now.
Anyway I'm on days for this month so I'm hoping to make it to a few sessions, maybe starting next week.
I'm with E on the tough part. Really long met-cons suck. This was also my first time too, but when you conquer the 50 it's a good confidence boost. Good work.
yes, I will be there at 6:00. From my time at OTG, I've noticied that things always get harder when they (I mean Mark and Satan)return from a class. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us next week.

That's not bad, I think my first was around 45-50 minutes. It was the first workout that I wanted to throw the jumprope at Nick and leave.
