Just row'd a 2k, 7:12 was the time. PR'd my previous best of 7:19 by 7 seconds.
I stuck to the plan, power 5s on the 500s, started out, 1:44, and was able to hold 1:49 on the 2nd and 3rd 500s. The last 500, I just couldn't bring that time back down, and I struggled to keep it in the 1:40s.
I waited until about 300m left to let rip, and I finished with some gas left in the tank. Next time, I'll keep the same protocol and let it go with 500m left. I think I need a few bouts in the 7:0s before thinking about a sub-7.
Paul - As soon as the video, "Every second counts" comes in the mail, we're(crossfitters) getting together on a Friday night to watch it - and maybe some of the WOD's we did from the NEQ's.
did two thigns today. First worked on some strength with front squats. Did 5 sets of 3 as follows- 115,135,155,175,200. Then did helen for the first time, and boy is she fun, not. 11:01, definitely want another crack at her. wonder whats so "fun" tomorrow, every day is fun!

So it was a rest day for OTG but I did a little something to keep the blood flowing.
"Annie" - 50-40-30-20-10 Double unders / Sit ups
Finished in 19:05
Double unders need work, I can do them but they can be better.
So the wife says I can go to OTG tomorrow, ahhhh yaaa!!! I wonder wat they have in store. We'll find out son enough.
