The main site's WOD looks good today. I am going to have to sub standard dips for the ring dips since I don't have rings, but I won't be doing the 3-1 punitive substitution. I may do a 2-1 sub today. I think at 300 dips, my arms will fall off. 200 is a number that scares me, but sounds like it maybe doable.
Also, saving that Michael for this week. I won't run on a tread-mill, so I will do a Michael Row.
Scaled to 75lb on the SDHPs; figured 95lb would be too much for me (I think I could have done 85, definitely not 95). I faired decent on the SDHP; broke 0, 1, 2, 2, 2
Subbed regular dips for ring dips, did 2 for 1 regular dips (210 dips, YEOW!). Outside of the first round, I did 9, then 5s, 4s, and 3s. My left pec was in pain at the end (bad pain), and my left hand is still a little asleep.
This definitely did not test my wind, but muscle stamina. It didn't help that it was 85 degrees in the gym. I did sweat off all that beer and cake from the communion parties this last weekend.
10 rounds for time of 10 Hang squat cleans (DB 40lb) 10 Slapping push-ups
16:50 This WOD sucked ass while doing, but the vid ranks up there with my other old school favorites. Possibly the hardest part was refraining from taking my shirt off at Active! Somehow being shirtless makes WODs suck less...and probably would cut off at least a minute or two of time.
Cool WOD B. Get Rx'd one time Paul! You'll feel it in your lungs then! Well done Joe - just attempting that one is a success! Mark and I did a little somethin, somethin' today.. which he smoked me at.
For time: 500m Row 3R 5 - 155 lb C & J 15 Pull Ups C2B 10 Box Jumps 20" this was a smoker!
Yea B thats a cool one. But i definitely said screw the no shirt rules at my gym and threw it off halfway thru, definitely knocked off 2 minutes ha. Yea nick we were going to do annie, but tommy came in with the crazy idea to do basics, so we went with it. 155 C&J is my kryptonite, dont ever want to see it, seems like a cool wod

I hear ya Nick. I think doing Ring Dips might have also tested my wind more than the normal dips.
