Uh oh, my first Fran tomorrow.

My pullups still suck, so I know I will be off par. Plus, I will be running back and forth between the two stations. But a new PR coming none-the-less. Post those times, I can't wait to see em.

I knew I shouldn't have checked the WOD today!! As of right now I am stuck in the St. Louis airport! I'm sure I will be back in town in enough time for Fran to own me....again!

All thrusters unbroken. Had to break up 2nd round of pullups b/c I was losing grip and on the last round of pullups I slipped off the bar at #8.

This was my first meeting with Fran, so I didn't know what to expect. Figured on 6 - 8 minutes.

As expected, my pullups KILLED me. I gotta work on my technique and strength big time there. I probably spent 5 of the 7 minutes doing pullups (aweful). Thrusters can improve, but was not the problem.

Interesting and unexpected result of the Fran today. After the workout was done, my lungs were on fire (in a bad way). I had that weird taste in my mouth and a slight cough. I hadn't experienced that since my first month, and I was more than a little surprised it hit me on a 7 min workout, especially now in my 5th month when I consider my wind to be pretty good, and in a warm environment!

Anyway, I figure I have 2 months to work on my pullups to pull that time down.

Great Job to Eric, Joe O. and Joe C. (who just came back from a little leave,) those guys blew it out of the water. I on the other hand have much room for improvement, specially on the pull ups still, I got 11 something Rx'd, oh.....and I also dropped the bar on my head my first set of Thrusters....should have seen Mark's face when he watched me do that, hahahaha, price less! Thanx all for the motivation!

I workout at an old school gym by my work in Chester, PA. The pullup station sucks, that's why my pullups haven't improved. They have no rings, but they have most of everything else I need. It is a huge space with a bunch of old equipment and decent showers, and is very rarely crowded. I get there usually at 8am or during lunch 4 times a week.

Both my boys are in baseball, I have games 3 - 4 nights a week and twice on Saturdays, typically at 9 something and 12. Obviously, things are tough during baseball season for me to get to OTG.

I am thinking very hard about changing my hours to 6 - 3pm, and then I can get to OTG by 4 any day and still make baseball and such, but that is a HUGE change for me, plus it needs to be approved by my management, and I don't want to rock the boat with all these layoffs.
