Does this sound familiar to anyone? Your laying in bed in the morning and you start to wonder how bad your body is going to feel when you try to stand up. Well, that was me this morning. Surprisingly, I actually didn't feel that bad..including my back. Thanks Nic for always pushing us past our comfort zones and believing in our abilities!
Leanna...that is why it is called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). It takes 2 days to set in, let me know how you feel tomorrow / tomorrow night ;)
yeah man thats what im saying too ha those hspu's will be tough, i've never done 10 at a time, let alone 45. we'll see, i may not be able to go 225 right off, last time we did 225 i think i was only at 215.
Hey Leanne, you know I had that very same experience after my first day with Justine. I felt pretty good when I left and that night, but let me tell you the next day I had some very sore thighs. I was walking around the house funny enough for my 4 yr old son to notice. That's pretty sore. Took about 2 days to feel better. I had the same problem after the workout I did the other day. Funny though I like the pain... kind of.
8:54 guys. The HSPU's absolutely destroyed me. by the round of 15 i was doing singles. probably still need to be on a band for another couple of times.
How does one 'roll out' tough guy? I've never had this told or introduced to me? Are you failing me as a trainer by not telling me aboot this? I wish you would though, 'cause I'm about to sign my thighs up for a horror movie audition they are SCREAMING so bad! HAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!
Tough guy?....not going to touch that one. I am upset with myself for not filling you in on one of the most untapped resources we have at the gym. I will give myself 10 lashings tonight before hitting the sack. You may not like rolling out, but you'll like how you feel afterwards. Well done Joe! Been there on the round of 15 doing singles..the road looks extremely long from there. You're probably a single band for each or just straight up HSPU's, I'd have to evaluate where you're at. Off to do my lashings.

seriously Joe, 5-7 minute range is an AWESOME time for Diane...don't under estimate those HSPU's...they kicked my butt when I did it...

If you guys would just suck it up and 'roll out' before you left, you wouldn't have half the problems/soreness you currently go through after a WOD!
