1-Arm Slapping Push Ups
Start in a standard plank position. Lower to a full depth push up position (shoulder below elbow or chest touching ground). As you push up, right hand comes off the ground and taps the right shoulder, rinse and repeat alternating hands for each rep. (25 each side)

If you're not looking to compete, but still want to participate we're going to need judges. As a judge, you'll be asked to hold competitors to our standards of movement, count reps, be a positive representative of OTG, etc. You'll get a free lunch and t-shirt too!! Let anyone of the coaches know so we can keep you in the loop on what roles you'll be playing! Thank you and hope to see you there as a competitor, judge, or for support!

I owe a few people the info on the USAW Weightlifting meet this weekend. So here goes…
It’s Sunday and since I’m lifting in the novice group, it starts at 12 noon, with weigh-ins at 10am. (FYI: all the big boys and girls lift on Saturday...sorry you won’t get to see them)

It'll probably be from 12:00 to 2:00ish. It'll depend how many people are there, and what my weights are compared to everybody else. You have 6 total lifts to do and you go in the order of the weight attempted relative to the rest of the group.
