Awww-look at those pretty athletes. Nice photo girls! Just threw together some "Paleo" sandwich bread. If it turns out ok, I'll post the recipe.
See everyone at 3:30 today!

Gift - I'm stopping by this afternoon to purchase a jump rope. Going away on business for three days, so I thought I would pass the down time in my hotel room by practicing my DU's. What time will you be there?

Well it's a little late but I saw a bunch of good quotes here recently so i figured I would use one of my favorites:

"There are two types of pain in this world: The temporary pain of discipline, or the permanent pain of regret"

When you feel yourself slipping in a wod, just remember to tell yourself why you're here and how far you've come. The body can take much more than you ever imagined, train your minds to push through it and leave no regrets, and you'll thank yourself for it. The throwdown was awesome and congrats to everyone it was a great day, can't wait for the sectionals!

Nice energy at 6 tonight, some serious squat clean weights tonight! Had to modify the wod and switch the pull-ups with sit-ups cause of the shoulder.

great job 630 EHT crew. Jim, good to have you back in the gym with your antics and the "funny noises" you make.

maxed at 175lb on the squat clean, failed at 195 and then 185. Need some more practice with the movement and I think I can nail it.

Scored a 153 total on the WOD.

I haven't mentioned this to any of the coaches yet but I think some time last week I had sort of an "epiphany". I think I have finally overcome a big mental barrier that I feel has been bringing my performance level down during the WODs.

I am expecting my performance to start getting better and better. I think there is a big mental aspect to doing these difficult WODs and I think I may have figured out a way to handle it. I hope everyone else can overcome this wall as well

Well first night back in about a month or so. Felt really good. I was curious to see how I would do after so much time off. I did pretty well I think.

Squat clean maxed at 185 although I think I could do more but we'll save that for next time.

For the WOD I had a total of 168.

Great class tonight Nick, good to see you guys again. You know Steve it's funny you should mention the mental block. I had some blockers recently and I think tonight gave me the motivation to get back on track. Plus I really enjoyed working with you all again.

Peace out until next time.

Oh, one last time everyone seems to have nick names now. So I feel a little left out, I need a nickname. Any takers, be kind, but let's be appropriate. HAHA!

Jim, since the "breeze" is already taken, maybe we can call you "backdraft" or "skids"
