Walked into the box today feeling like crap, walked out feeling great! Man I love Crossfit! Pretty stocked about today’s WOD, Rxd 4:57. I was flying until the last 9 HSPU which probably took me over a minute to finish. First round unbroken, then did 10 & 5 for second round, unbroken dead lifts on third round and then wheels fell off, could only do 2 HSPU at a time then only 1. Having no kip in my arsenal cost me on those last 9. Still blew away my expectations on the DL’s, adrenalin kicked in and they felt light!

Cash out: was only able to get 1 rep MU at a time until the third round, got 3 unbroken.

Great job everyone, it was fun getting in for a 9:30AM WOD! Solid job Doug, I thought I had you!

Rx'd 4:38. Again, not pretty on the hspu's with my feet coming off the wall during the last rep. Much better though this time around. 2:20 pr!

Justin, you just keep getting stronger and stronger brotha! Awesome stuff!

WOD: Rx'd weight (1 abmat) ... 8:17. 58 sec PR, but I still HATE DEADLIFTS !!!

I just took a trip to Whole Foods with my wife and two daughters. It was like walking into an Apple Store, but with groceries and my two kid's shopping carts running into everyone in sight.

Quite an interesting place....and packed.

WOD: 9:55 - Cruised through the DL's but HSPU's were a whole nother story! Had to use the band contraption and help from Justin to get into a handstand. Thanks Justin! I've done a variety of things in a plethora of positions in my life. Being in a handstand isn't one of them.

Dennis, I was there yesterday with my husband but without my kids...thank God because it was truly a madhouse!!

Made it in for 330 class....WOD 6:50 was able to RX the weight and used 10lb plate w/ 1 abmat. My last time was 5:58 the rx'd weight and 2 abmats. Even though I didn't beat my time, I was happy that my hspu setup changed!
Scheduled to work the next 2 days...see you on Thursday!

WOD: 3:50 Rx'd. Last time was 3:09 with one abmat. Muscle ups were a grind -- only 2 at a time.

Last time I did this it was 7 and change but I only did 95lbs and 2 abmats!!

Muscle ups are nowhere in my sightline, but still fun to play around with.

Need to try to kip these HSPUPs to get off the 2 ab mats.

did 9 single muscle ups in 10 attempts, need to start working on these again.
Worked out with Dom, good stuff, Deads were good but those HSPU sure slowed this down!

WOD: 7:46. HSPU suck, went almost unbroken on the DL (paused once in the last round), so I couldn't do much better there.

Did 3 consecutive muscle ups. I then managed to get 1 without a kip (dead hang), which was nice.

My shoulder is bugging today.

Pulled my cheek in the first round HAHA. ouch.

Muscle ups - still catching them too damn low. Takes way too long to get up there.

I am posting this comment a day late because I am disappointed in my time and performance with "Diane". I'm sure she has some nasty things to say about me, too...

I'll be honest, the wheels fell off after the first round. I finished the sets of 21 deads/HSPUs in 2:31... and then the wheels were completely off that b!tch.

WOD: 8:01 rx'd

The deadlift weight felt good, but I couldn't string together more than 2 HSPU starting with the second round.

I've goat work to do.

Made up WOD on 1/22
6:42 135lbs, 1Abmat
Kept same weight as 9/20, got rid of 10lb plate. So, a little slower, but HSPUs getting better.

Tried to kip HSPU. Got a few but find them tougher than doing them without.
