How did Brett do?

Wish I was in today to do this one with the lift. Hit Elizabeth during my lunch today and it was a tough one. A bit of a wake up call to start fuelling my body with good things instead of putting crap in it! I need to get my act together.

Rx'd: 11:47. This wod broke me. Looking forward to a great week though.

I went 5 for 6 on the day with a 208 total.
Opened with 82, then hit 88, missed 95 on the snatch(shoulda had it, but I was still getting the nerves out). The plan was to stay conservative on the snatch and hit the C&J hard.

I opened with 110kg, then hit 115, and finished with 120kg. 120 was easy.

I was only 1 of 3 novice males, so I easily won my weight class. I did win a trophy for "best male novice lifter" so that was pretty awesome.

Thanks for all the support!

By the way atlee, there was a 13year old girl who snatched something like 150lbs and c&j'ed 190lbs!! (i forget what it was in kilos)

And when I say I easily won my weight class I am referring to the fact that I was the only one in my weight class as a novice...

Lift: 105-115-125 new PR for me.

WOD: 16:22 75lbs and red band.

God this one sucked. Being alone made it even worse (I was the only one who came at 12!!), having the group really helps. Justin made it bearable though! Thanks for the push and the awesome coaching today!

Michelle, thanks! It was such a pleasure to meet and work out with you!
Nick, those arm stretches you gave me just last week paid off hugely! Today's WOD I felt like a pro! My elbows just kept coming through, over and over. Thanks so much!

Today's WOD was 13:36 rx'd and was tough. We finished with timed burpee pull-ups. I went for the high bar and was actually jumping as high as I could and sometimes just getting one hand on there! Such fun. 25 in 3:56.

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with Otg and everyone I got to meet and workout with this summer. I'm heading back to Denver tomorrow morning, so I won't be around for a while. Seriously, you guys have such a solid program and I can't wait to get back!

If you find yourself in Colorado, hit me up!
