Brett, Nick, and Joe, I hear you all had a very solid performance. Leanna kept me up to date during my sectional. My hat's off to all of you... Brett, congratulations on making it to the top 30. I hope you all recover very quickly so you can start training for Regionals.

I think doing these competitions are such a great way to really test yourself and improve. Joe's post the other day was great.... Here is one of my favorite quotes from Teddy Roosevelt:

BTW, we were jumping on top of a 45lb plate stacked on a 20" box....and feet fully on box....heels have to clear edge of box.

yeah the plate was definitely an awkward adjustment, having to clear not only the box but also have ur heels completely past the plate edge was weird at first, but you get used to it, just breathe!

congrats guys. after seeing the results you can bet as long as i am healthy i will be there with you next year. i cant wait for the regionals and the affiliate competition.

i've been thinking about this wod since i saw it posted on the games site. i've been jacked up all day waiting for 12th period so i can do it. not able to make it into the gym today but i will post my result later. im going to smash it.

Had a blast this weekend at the Sectionals! I couldn't be more proud of my boys Nick, Brett, and Joey O, and how they represented OTG! Thanks to Wayne, Justin, and Aurea for the support to the point of losing our voices! LOL

I'm proud of our OTG community, and our programming! Skills are just as important as your Fran time...make sure you work on your weaknesses!! (I don't have that problem, cause I have no weaknesses!) hahahahnrabkbubbbufrryryyralkwe'regonnafuckingkillitinalbany!!!!

Lee and I are really proud of the way Crossfit OTG represented this weekend. Great job Nick, Brett and Joe!!!!

Crossfit was the only thing on our mind all weekend. We had the computer on all day and checked the standings hourly.

See you at 6:00 tonight and we will get this WOD done in under 15...

I actually kinda liked the burpee box jumps. They were tough, but I actually expected them to be MUCH worse!

Then I did the DU/T2B cash out...

Then Leanna and I did some deadlifts...and I am happy to report that I did 175 for 2 (which was my previous max) and then I got 195 off the ground for 1! YAY!

See you guys tomorrow...hopefully I won't regret the deadlift work!
