PR on the OHS by 15lbs.

Workout: 14:23 used 10lb wb/1pd/DUs
The only thing unbroken was the first round of wb. I would have been here all day and still would not finish everything unbroken! So it turned out to be the Adv. With DUs.

Great job 9:30!

Lift: 65x3-75x3-85x3-95x3-105x3-115x1, could have gone up but i chickened out!!
WOD: FB, scaled w/14lb ball, 1 pood KB, did the 1st rd unbroken until the DU's, had to split up rds 2 & 3, even w/the scaled weights this was pretty unpleasant, 15:44, awesome job 930, hav a great weekend!

Had help getting to the overhead for the 95. Thanks, Jen & Nick :)

WOD:

Picked 20 WB/30 KB/20 DU
All KBs unbroken.
1st rnd of WB unbroken. Broken DUs and rnds 2 & 3 of WB.
Happy I strung WBs much better today. I'll take it!

Have a great weekend!

Lift 195

Great wod, the unbroken factor really made this challenging mentally & physically, especially round three.

first two wods were pretty smooth, no problems.

rd 3 things started to get interesting...

Wall Balls: Although the ball never hit the floor I started stalling around rep 16.

du's on third rd: failed at 24 then 23 then 22 before I got all 30

rx'd 13:37

Doug your a beast can't say that enough. I love chasing you!

Great job 6:30

Steve, we missed you brother get better soon.

Paul, I hope you like your new tux

Wow, did today's workout suck. I was gassed from the get-go, no thanks to running 8 miles this morning thinking that I was not going to make it to the gym this afternoon.

Max lift for OHSQ was only 95 lbs, but the shoulder and wrists really limit this movement for me. I need to work on this a lot.

WOD : did pseudo FB with some ADV for the jumps. Wall ball at 14 lbs (unbroken first two sets), KB at 1.5 pds for first two rounds, and then luckily Nikki finished before I started my 3 rd swings, so I grabbed her 1 pd KB and finished with that.

Jump ropes: I bought a new rope today from Nick, and I have to say, what a difference a rope makes. I was able to get a couple of DU right out of the gate, but not consistent enough to do the 30 per round, so I went with the singles (with a few DU thrown in for fun).

16:58 for my time, even though there was a 15 minute cap. Oh well, today sucked, so I wasn't worried.

By the way, the 5:30 class only had attendees with first names that started with the letters J, K, L, M, and N. I guess that's OTG's equivalent of a straight in poker.

Lift: OHSQ 145lbs
so happy with this! not only is it a 15lb PR! but its also bodyweight!

WOD: 14:23 did 30/30/20
first round unbroken, then it went downhill...wall balls destroyed me!

Made a huge breakthrough tonight on DU's eliminated two singles between doubles, so much freakin faster!!!

Amazing work 4:30 and 5;30! great coaching NIck!

PRIYA!!! CONGRATS! on and awesome PR!

Originally said I'd do ADV but last minute got the courage to try the overhead. Glad I did. Started with 35 lbs and ended up getting 95 lbs. Felt good physically but even more so mentally!! I even snatched 55 lbs! Happy with that.

WOD: 12:56
20 unbroken WB @ 10lbs
30 1 pd KB (30) (30) (20/10)
D/U was stringing 5 or so together at a time. Good for me!

Tossed in a total of 95 burpees thru out the hour and got 'em done! (owed 30 from yesterday!)

Great workout for me today both physically AND menatally!!! Ahhh, needed that!!!

As for some of the other numbers posted today: AWESOME!
Jen C...congrats and way to be a beast! Love it!
Priya: way to go!!
Sherri: great job!

fs - 195(2), worked on form and getting elbows up...

19:00+ on wod... bad decision to go w/ 20lb wall ball and 1.5pood... hit muscle fatigue in shoulders and traps... but w/ new jump rope, got 100 singles unbroken, which means i am ready to challenge my 9yr old daughter
