Since our gym has such a cool name(off the grid) but our owners never seem to use it(OTG), why don't we name the competition the Off The Grid Open?
Great Job Yesterday- Sammy, Kristi, Maria, Doug, Matt, Joey O and Joey O's cankles-AWESEOME JOB
No weak links in that chain
You guys were amazing!!!-Wod#2 Everyone finishng together was aweseome!!!
Nick/Mark your programming and standards are top notch....
BUT Please someone tell me who taught Joey O to push off his knees on air squats??
Mark sorry I hit you with that rock, but I had your back against the old guy.....
Congrats again to all you guys who participated yesterday. Way to represent, proud of you guys.
Just wanted to shout out a congrats to our Steph D. who was like lightening yesterday at the Ocean City Half marathon. Fighting the LongPort bridge and heavy head winds on the last 3 miles, She finished 7th out of 327, 2nd female overall and first in her age group with a time of 1;28.
Tied for first in points with lowest cumulative time. Thats first in my book. Way to go guys and girls!
These team competitions are much harder than individual ones. Its one thing to slow down in an event and accept it personally, but when your not just doing it for yourself, it adds a whole layer of pressure. Well everyone rose to the occasion yesterday. Congrats!
Great times yesterday! Our success was no doubt a direct result of the amazing programing and coaching at OTG!! Mark, Nick, and Stacy you are all amazing!
The support yesterday was crucial! Can't thank you all enough for making the trip!!
Waking up this morning I am still on such an inspiring high from yesterday.
To my team mates, it was nothing short of an honor to compete with you yesterday. CONGRATULATIONS!!!The energy within the team was so motivating. I agree with Bretts comments about fighting for not only yourself but fighting to make a harder, stronger team. Everyone fought hard yesterday. As a team we hurdled challenges and even injuries. Crazy proud of everyone.
Mark, Nick and Stacey... The attitude, drive and the win* all come from the program that you have built. Thank you so much for the opportunity to compete and for having me be a part of such a positive family.
Thanks everyone that came to support. It was good to hear 215 acknowleging that OTG always "rolls deep".
Singlet has been purchased for USAW meet on October 24.
WOD: sadly i had to do 45 lbs at the tire, sucky form, still took me 6:45 to finish. Got thru the cash out ok, so thats somethin, great job 9:30,and again, congrats to everyone on the fantastic job yesterday!

Congratulations, Steph! Hope you're feeling great :)
I absolutely loved competing yesterday! Thank you to all my teammates and coaches for making this opportunity available. And thanks to everyone who came out to support us on such a long day!
brett you better have a badass singlet, i might be goin to that i'll cheer you on
... & i heard about the gnarley wods yesterday good job everyone!
Super fun yesterday and an honor to be able to compete with all you guys. (Sammy, Maria, Joey O, Matt and Doug) Yeah we rocked:) And also thanks for everyone that supported us:)
I'd also like to point out that we have the best coaches and that was proven yesterday. How many teams struggled through those overhead squats, the run, double unders, ground to overhead, etc... But not us, we all pulled through and worked as a team and kicked some ass. So really, thanks guys. I know I hate some of the wods you guys put out (mostly because I can't do all of them and boy is that frustrating) but I now know there is a reason why they are so hard - it just makes us all that much stronger:)
Great job all yesterday can't wait to join you guys one day on a team competition. It sounds so badass!
