Double Unders
5 unbroken sets of a target number

WOD:
"Fran-k"
5 Rounds
10 DB Thrusters 45/35lbs
10 Pull Ups

Post Double Under target # and time to comments.

If DB's are not available, use a Barbell w/ 95/65lbs.

There will be no class on Saturday Jan 23, 2010. Come cheer for your fellow OTG'r at the Winter Throwdown in Phila!!

An outside tailgate is less probable. With temps in the 40’s on Saturday most of us would rather stay inside. Plus you won’t see any of the action out there…If we get a volunteer to man a grill outside, that would be cool.

I don’t know the event setup but as I understand it, there will be a large warehouse. That would mean plenty of room for us to set up camp. Fill up some coolers, bring some food, foam rollers and TP, etc.

Oh and the thruster/burpees/pullups wod hurt a bit more than I thought it would. I had no gas on the 4th round and did round 5 and the pullups on fumes. Probably because I had a super low carb day as always and no dinner prior.

Brett - Why do you insist on posting workouts with no times? It seems a little counterintuitive to why we post. Love the asterisk after every WOD too...haaaha

Joe - aren't you the only minor?...lol

Tailgaters - We will be inside during the competition. Bring some food that doesn't necessarily need to be cooked. We're thinking of bringing some wraps...Athletes should be bringing their own nutritional snacks for Pre-and Post-WOD meals. As far as beer goes - bring what you want to drink - that way you're not disappointed if there's nothing you like. Bring chairs just in case there are none provided. We plan on taking pics and hopefully some video of the event and the WOD's. Rock your CrossFit OTG gear and maybe some high socks...Represent!!

It should be a terrific time and am looking forward to all of you exceeding your own expectations!!

Okay, I better not be the only girl wearing high socks. Don't worry, I'll get some for you guys - Michelle, Leanna, Jackie ha ha. Paul, I'll get some for you too:)
Saw todays wod and got super excited, so I'm gonna come tonight and do some and then take Friday off. See ya all at 630.

The carb/fuel thing is interesting to note since a lot of our folks will be asking themselves what to eat before doing saturdays wods. It wasn't meant as an escuse since I don't feel like there's much room in there for me to personally shave off more time. Rather as a reminder to fuel up properly for sat.

I came in earlier to do 1k, thrusters and a few pull ups. The row is all I can think about. Nervous as hell for Saturday. I just want to finish.

Still celebrating this morning's small victory - managed 3 pull ups with out a band!
Thanx "Condition" for the kip review, for the encouragement, & for pushing me through all 5 rounds of the WOD.

Wow-so much excitement in the air! Best of luck to all who are competing Saturday. Can't wait to here about it. Go get'm!!
I did the thruster burpee pull-up workout yesterday at school-7:50. (Brett you're a mad man- Sick time!) Burpees probably held me up the most. The thrusters were no joke either. Got the pull-ups in 10-10-10. The next time an event comes up like this, it will be a priority for me. Starting to feel motivated to eat better for the pure fact of getting better at the wods. Have a blast saturday, wish I could be there!!!

Today was fun, great job 630 EHT crew. Mark wouldn't let me do the whole WOD so I did 5 rounds of 5 thrusters (65 lbs) and 10 pullups. I finished in 5 something. Then did a 1500 m row, 50 situps and 10 burpees with Steve. Ya know thought I would take it easy. haha. Can't wait till Sat, nervous as hell:)
